Welcome to Tiny Tot Company!

 I would like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to come visit our site. I am so excited to offer you our first product, the Catch the Mess Bib! When my son was younger, I could not find anything on the market that not only protected his clothes (so many crumbs and spilled food) but was also not made with plastic or silicone. My son has sensitive skin and bibs that were not made of natural materials would irritate him. I decided that I would attempt to create a bib that I thought would solve all my problems.

The first problem being, the bib had to catch the mess before hitting his clothes. To do this, I knew I needed some sort of pocket to catch the spill. But there is no way to create a stand-alone pocket out of fabric and still ensure that it will be able to be tossed into the washing machine and dryer. Which was also a priority. No one has time to wash bibs by hand. So I realized that I had to find a way to attach the pocket to the high chair table. After going over some options, I ended up choosing hook and loop strips. This not only allows for easy attachment and removal from the high chair, but can also go through the wash cycle. 

The second issue was the material itself. I knew I needed a natural material, so cotton was a top choice. I also wanted to make sure that it was soft. I headed off to the local fabric store and ended up leaving with yards of flannel. Flannel was able to offer a cotton base, a fluffy texture, not to mention, it came in adorable prints. When I got home, I made a sketch, took out the sewing machine (which I really didn’t know how to use) and made an attempt to create what I pictured in my head. My first bib did not look the most symmetrical, but it worked! After that, I created a few more to use at the house, and they were the best bibs I owned. As my son got older, I realized that I wanted to share this product with other parents. I had some friends and family use it, and they all loved it. That is how the idea of starting Tiny Tot Co. was born. I want to share this product with parents and can’t wait to bring you more innovative designs in the future. As parents, we are so busy, overwhelmed and at times exhausted, having a product that can help save time and money is a life-saver.
